Please note that the following instructions are only valid for cars.
Many roads lead to Bremen – here we have listed the most direct ones. However please note the following:
If you are using a navigation system, when approaching Bremen from the north-west or north-east, enter “Hollerallee” as your target, but if approaching from the south-west enter “Theodor-Heuss-Allee”. These directions will lead you directly to the fairground.
Approach from the north-west / Oldenburg:
Via A28 in the direction of Bremen. At the motorway intersection no. 23 Delmenhorst-Hasport turn onto the B75 towards Bremen. After approx. 9 km you pass the Beck’s brewery and cross the Stephani bridge. Take the “Hauptbahnhof” exit - following the left-hand fork towards Hauptbahnhof (station). After 450 metres turn right into Daniel-von-Büren-Strasse, keeping left to turn left at the traffic lights, then after 100 metres turn left again into Kaufmannsmühlenkamp, through the tunnel and at the next traffic lights right into Theodor-Heuss-Allee. On your left you will find the Bürgerweide car park, directly in front of the fairground.
Approach from the north-east / Hamburg:
Via A1 in the direction of Bremen. At the intersection “Bremer Kreuz” (exit 53) turn off keeping right onto the A27 in the direction of Bremerhaven/HB-Sebaldsbrück. After approx. 7.5 km take exit 20 Bremen-Vahr following the sign towards Bremen-Centrum onto Richard-Boljahn-Allee. After approx. 3 km keep left and turn into Schwachhauser Heerstrasse then after approx. 500 metres right into Hollerallee. Cross the roundabout “Am Stern” continuing straight across on Hollerallee. You will see the fairground on your left. Turn left at the traffic lights into Findorffstrasse, and after approx. 500 metres left again into Theodor-Heuss-Allee. On your left you will find the Bürgerweide car park, directly in front of the fairground.
Approach from south-west / Ruhr area:
Via the northbound A1 towards Bremen. Take exit 57 Bremen/Brinkum turning right at the crossroad onto B6/Bremer Strasse following the signs for Bremen-Centrum. After approx. 3 km the B6 turns left onto Neuenlander Strasse. After a further 3 km turn right into Langemarckstrasse, over the Bürgermeister-Smidt-bridge onto Bürgermeister-Smidt-Strasse. At the end turn right onto Breitenweg driving past the station, keep left. After the station turn left at the traffic lights and continue to keep left. After the Lloyd tunnel turn left into Theodor-Heuss-Allee. On your right you will find the Bürgerweide car park, directly in front of the fairground.
